Pre-Treatment Preparation Guide

2 Weeks Before

  • Sun Care: Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, spray tans, and self-tanners.
  • Protection: Apply SPF 30+ daily. Wear wide-brimmed hats, sunglasses, and protective clothing outdoors.
  • Skin Care: Pause other aesthetic treatments or procedures that could irritate the target area.
  • Encourages faster skin recovery
Note: If you’ve had recent sun exposure or other skin procedures, please contact us—we may need to adjust your appointment date for safety.

3 Days Before

  • Hold Irritants: Discontinue harsh soaps, medicated washes, scrubs, retinoids, and active peels.
  • Hydrate: Keep your skin barrier nourished with a gentle moisturizer and drink plenty of water.
Note: Hydration is key and avoid sun exposure

1 Day Before

  • Shave (If Applicable): For dense or coarse hair in the treatment area, shave using a fresh, clean razor and a hydrating shaving cream. Always shave in the direction of hair growth to prevent razor burn.
Note: Try not to irritate you skin

Day of Treatment

  • Arrive Fresh: Cleanse the treatment area completely—ensure it is free of makeup, lotion, sunscreen, or self-tanner. (If you forget, wipes are available upon arrival!)
  • Prep the Area: Remove any metal jewelry near the treatment area. Tattoos: Any tattoos near the area must be physically covered (we are happy to assist with this when you check in).
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink water throughout the day!
Note: Again avoid the sun as much as possible
